The Story
About this program
Access to quality healthcare remains a challenge for many families living in urban slums and rural communities. Limited healthcare facilities, financial constraints, lack of awareness, and delayed medical intervention often lead to untreated illnesses and poor health outcomes. Regular health monitoring and timely medical care are particularly difficult for vulnerable populations, including women, children, and the elderly.
To address this gap, we launched the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Program during 2025–26, bringing essential healthcare services directly to underserved communities across urban slums of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and nearby rural areas.
Through regular outreach camps and doorstep healthcare services, the program ensures that individuals receive timely medical consultations, basic diagnostic screenings, free medicines, and referral support without the burden of traveling long distances. Over the course of the year, the Mobile Medical Unit has successfully conducted 105 health camps and reached 17,455 beneficiaries, providing accessible and affordable healthcare to those who need it most.

In 2025–26, the Mobile Medical Unit reached 17,455 beneficiaries and conducted 105 health camps — distributing free medicines and providing BP, BSL, and Hb screening services, alongside referral support for specialized care and advanced treatment.
