The Story
SNEH Foundation believed that the mothers of its preschool children held untapped potential. Despite their circumstances, these women were resourceful, capable, and eager to contribute to their families.
The Women Empowerment initiative trained mothers in creating handmade products — paper bags, diyas, and rakhis — combining skill development with an income generation model where profits from sales were shared among participants.
The handmade products attracted strong demand from corporate companies, proving that quality and craftsmanship need not be limited to privileged hands.

Story of impact
A single meeting was enough to inspire action. Mothers were trained in creating handmade products — paper bags, diyas, and rakhis.
After rigorous training and consistent effort, the handmade products attracted strong demand from corporate companies.
The initiative restored confidence and dignity to women who had long been overlooked.
