“For a family from an urban slum, seeing their child walk into a quality English-medium school was a dream come true.”
Viraj comes from a family in the Balajinagar slum who believed deeply in the power of education. Despite their limited resources, his parents were determined to give their son a strong foundation.
Viraj was enrolled in SNEH Community Preschool, where he received structured early childhood education — learning alphabets, numbers, basic social skills, and developing the confidence to interact with peers.
When the time came for primary school admission, the SNEH team guided Viraj's family through the RTE (Right to Education) 25% reservation process. With careful documentation, preparation, and follow-up, Viraj secured admission to Jyoti English Medium School.
For a family from an urban slum, seeing their child walk into a quality English-medium school was a dream come true. Viraj's story highlights how a strong preschool foundation, combined with parental support and institutional guidance, can open doors that poverty tries to keep shut.
